The book reflects the author’s 30 years of experience in clinical practice and research. In the book EEGs with their descriptive interpretation are presented along with the data of the autopsy of the same patients diagnosed with brain tumor of different locations, hematomas, cysts, abscesses, strokes and more. Some of them are accompanied by photographs of brain slices. Localizations of tumors include extra cerebral, intracerebral tumors, tumors located under the cortex, tumors of the third ventricle. The questions associated with difficulties in differential diagnostics between tumors and circulatory disorders, tumor and epilepsy are considered. The age criteria for “normal EEG” is discussed, also. The book would be recommended for students of medical schools, neurology residents, clinical neurology fellows, neurologists and in training of neurodiagnostic technologists. Our findings can be applied in the clinic and, as a guide, it would be of great interest for students of medical schools, neurology residents, clinical neurology fellows and neurologists, as well. A new look at the interpretation of the clinical EEG, specific nosology features, in the monograph is offered. It contains the EEGs with their descriptive interpretation presented along with autopsy verification data and data of surgical operations of the same patients diagnosed with brain tumors of different locations, hematomas, cysts, abscesses, strokes, epilepsy and more. Some of them are accompanied by photographs of brain slices. The questions associated with differential diagnostics between tumors and cerebrovascular disorders, tumors and epilepsy are considered. The age criteria for “normal EEG” is discussed, also.
