This book summarizes the development history and research status of three composite flooding technology, and introduce them combining the practical problems of ternary composite flooding in Daqing Oilfield. The main contents of this book are divided into the following parts: Alkali/Surfactant/Polymer interaction, A/S/P system’s imbibition characteristics and oil displacement mechanism, emulsification of A/S/P system, demulsification mechanism of A/S/P system, alkanolamide Surfactant synthesis and its combination system properties.
According to the indoor test and pilot test, A/S/P flooding technology has a wide application and development prospects, which can enhance oil recovery rate by 20% after water flooding. However, A/S/P flooding technology needs to be perfected, and the mechanism of A/S/P flooding needs to be deeply researched. Based on the summary of the development history and research status of A/S/P flooding technology, this book conducts an in-depth systematic study on the mechanism of the main chemical agents in the A/S/P flooding combing with the pilot tests in Daqing Oilfield. At the meantime, this book introduces some new research achievements about the mechanisms of A/S/P flooding, and gives some feasible research directions of A/S/P flooding.
This book can be used as a reference book for tertiary oil production technicians, relevant researchers and graduate students, and will help petroleum researchers understand and develop A/S/P flooding technology.
