Abstract

Tetraethyl lead is a strong poison that belongs to the I hazard class in a working environment, it is absorbed through the respiratory system and absorbed through intact skin. Tetraethyl lead has a cumulative character, accumulates in internal organs and the brain. It is excreted from the body slowly. It is excreted through light, as well as in the form of inorganic lead compounds with urine and feces. No irritation symptoms are observed upon contact with tetraethyl lead.
