Abstract
The monograph is the first study of Scottish migration to Poland in the XVI– XVII centuries in Russian historiography. Special attention is paid to revelation of influence of social and economic, political and religious factors on emigration from Scotland at the end of the XVI–XVII centuries and ascertainment of a place and a role of Scottish emigrants in social development of Poland during the above mentioned period. The monograph is intended for historians and anyone interested in the history of Scotland and Poland, problems of emigration and migrants' adaptation in European region in the early modern period. The monograph is published in the original.
