"The Adventures of Kysh and his friends" created by Elena Lemel /E.Akimova/ is a literary work written in perfect language with warm humor and intriguing plot twists. It is designed for children from preschool age. In the genre of a fairy tale with a company of friends as main characters the author focuses on the social and ethical norms and rules of behavior in situations relevant for a modern child.
The book helps the readers to better understand adults’ behavior and to respect the parental job thanks to three generations of rabbits interacting in the fairy-tale space. It lays the foundation for their well-balanced harmonious family life in the future.
The book is really unique as the author plays an active role in the events, remaining in the dialogue with the reader from the first to the last page. At the end of each chapter the readers find some questions or special tasks addressed to them. They are aimed at raising the level of child's creativity, leadership and emotional intellect. Some of the questions will be answered in the following chapters of the book, and some of the tasks help the child to concentrate on his goals and dreams, as well as on the troubles he may face in life, and people able to help him to overcome them.
The book is suitable both for reading aloud to a four-year-old child and for self-reading at an older age. The topics raised in the book, the author's approach and the depth of consideration make the book valuable for both teenagers and modern parents.
